India’s SECI Issues Request for Selection for 200 MW Solar and Storage Project

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a request for selection (RfS) for 200 MW grid-connected solar PV projects along with large scale battery energy storage system under National Solar Mission (NSM) Phase-II, Batch-IV, Tranche-VI in Pavagada Solar Park in the state of Karnataka. Each 50 MW project is expected to be connected to 2.5 MWh of storage capacity. SECI has already issued an RfS for 100 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects with large-scale battery energy storage systems at the Kadapa Solar Park in Andhra Pradesh on 9th August, 2016.
