On Friday 9 June 2017, visitors of the annual TU Delft PowerWeb event can learn about the Smart Grid Cyber Security challenges and solutions on intelligent power systems. The event is intended for researchers, engineers and policy makers who are working in the Smart Grid Cyber Security field.
Chair PowerWeb Peter Palensky: “The digitization of our energy infrastructure is expected to lead to improved efficiency, integration with other systems and more flexibility. These three very welcome benefits come with a price: Increased complexity and new types of phenomena previously unknown in the power sector. One of them is cyber security: digital infrastructure, globally networked, is subject to numerous threats and attacks.”
