First two-day summit of Chief Executive Officers of smart city would be organised in the State capital on May 8 and 9  this year. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs would organised the event.

In the wake of the summit Urban Development and Housing Department Madhya Pradesh has geared for the preparations.

Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (Independent Charge)  Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs  and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be present in the special gathering.

According to the sources command control center of Urban Development and Housing Department Madhya Pradesh Government integrated and incubation center in the state capital would be inaugurated during the summit on May 8.

The CEO would discuss their experiences to make smart city better.

In the conference, Knowledge Sharing, City Experience, development of walk- able roads, digitally integrated smart city center, women's security in smart cities, art crafts and culture, education and skills and city experiences, as well as other subjects from Smart City would be discussed.

Presentation on work in the field of Smart City in the three cities, Indore, Jabalpur and Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh would be given  during this conference.

In addition to this presentation Pune, Varanasi , Bangalore, Surat, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Jaipur, Raipur, Bhubaneswar  and other cities which have done innovation and good work in the Smart City will also be presented during the conference.

The Chief Executive Officers of Smart City will visit the undergoing works under Smart City in Bhopal.

Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Chief Secretaries, Secretaries of different States and more than 150 other officers will be present in the conference. The conference will also include those associated with the startup.
