Power supply maker and energy management solution provider Delta Electronics is exhibiting an IoT (Internet of Things)-based smart building solution and an IoT-based micro-grid solution at Computex Taipei.
The exhibition is through demonstrating application of the smart building solution to an unstaffed convenience store and the micro-grid solution to an EV (electric vehicle) power charging station.
Delta develops the smart building solution through cooperation with two subsidiaries, Austria-based building management solution developer Loy Tec electronics and Taiwan-based security surveillance solution provider Vivotek.
The smart building solution features building automation covering building management and control systems of entrance/exit security using stereo counting cameras and fisheye cameras, smart and energy-saving LED lighting, air conditioning and ventilation, indoor air quality monitoring and air purification.
The smart micro-grid solution mainly consists of an in-house-developed power conditioning system, a container-type lithium-ion battery energy storage system, a PV inverter and power-charging piles.
